I tried to follow steps you provided above, but can't access the "rating".
You need to expand the "Search Recipes" menu item, then you will see lots of search options including rating
When I click on "Search Recipes" nothing happens.
That's weird it's working for me. I have set the project to start at the login page again, just in case something is not getting loaded for you.
