Cannot generate IPA file with Distribution profile and certififcate

FOr some reason I cannot get the IPA to generate when using a DIstribution provisioning profile and certificate. I have created and recreated them several times in case i did something wrong. But no luck. I think I have followed the various tutorials... THe error I get is :

Build error

Most likely build error cause:

Invalid pair of Provision Profile and Certificate. Provisioning profile
was not signed with a given developer certificate.
Please open the project, then go to Project/App Settings/iOS
binary IPA properties to check it.

have not spotted anything there that helps. Just to add I have been building the ipa file with no problems on a developer certificate and provisioning profile. but no luck on the distribution ones....

something that looks odd is in the resources section where you see the listed certififcates the principal is the same for my dev and distribution certificates. I am sure I have uploaded them correctly and have redone them several times, so maybe the certificate import has not worked correctly ?

For testing yes (developer certificate and provisioning profile)

For realease to App Store - NO
(using Distribution cert + profile)

i tseem slike the certificate import is going wrong, my distribution certificate has a different date to my dev one, yet the uploaded "distribution" one in appery has the dev date. I have rexported my p12 several times and retried, same result. Is there a problem with the certificate import?

Please check whether your Bundle ID matches Provisioning profile http://devcenter.appery.io/documentat...
And try with Release option checked.

as far as i can see yes. Any thoughts on why the imported certificate has the wrong date on it, i am as sure as i can be i am importing the right file... ?

i deleted both of my ios certs in appery, then re-uploaded the Distribution one only, and it still has the date and details of the development one....

So I am confused.
