Bind variable to component (label->text)

Hello,

I'm trying to make list menus as explained in this tutorial.

Got everything sorted have to pages with lists that show what I need. Problem is I can't bind a variable to a component.

If I just add variable and enter static value everything works fine variable is added to local storage. But if I bind it to label-text variable is not beeing added to local storage although I can clearly see that label I bound it to is showing correct data.

What am I missing please help this variable thing turned to be 4 hour project

Please post a screen shot(s) of how you bind a variable to a component.

Notice that it is indeed mobilelabel2

application preview where number 7 there is showing correctly in label2

and event screen where you can see that label 2 is bound to variable vDob ... also notice in dropdown that sometimes 2 properties text show up used to be 1 when I clicked it but since i tried to do this on 2 or 3 new pages i noticed even more text properties show sometimes.

I'm sorry now I realized what I did wrong I bound it to mobilelist instead of item got it sorted
