I've been trying to get the file upload tutorial to work in the android tester, but it is failing when selecting a file. I don't know what error it is throwing because I am not able to reproduce it on the browser simulator.

Hi - you got this problem when choosing your app in "Appery.io Tester" or inside your app when you choosing a file to upload?
What version of Android?
Choosing the file to upload fails. It opens the file browser, but does not complete the preview.
Android version: 4.1.2
It's hard to say what exactly is wrong. Do you have the possibility to debug the app? To see the LogCat messages.
How would I debug the android build? It works fine in the browser with no errors.
Kapow36 is right, it does not work on android phone.

And please tell us the app name.
The issue was with app properties configuration.
"Target SDK version" must be "Android 4.2.x".
