Hi Guys,
How's this going? I'm very interested in a solution to this problem - I'm building an app for both web and locally-installed modes that includes video, and the locally installed app under android will not display playing video unless it's switched to full screen. I've tried various type settings, and different resolutions, but no success. Everything works fine as a web app. I assume I have the same problems as (seemingly) everybody else trying to play video in an android phonegap app.
If the VideoPlayer plugin is a solution to the problem, It really does deserve reliable, detailed documentation as to how to get it working in an Appery project.
Thanks
John
Today you would need to export the app and add the plug-i in Eclipse. We will make it possible to add PhoneGap plug-ins right in Appery.io soon.
Was there a work around for this issue? I tried with video plugin but still has an issue [ only audio, no video]
We are not aware of a workaround. As it's a PhoneGap plug-in, it's best to ask this on PhoneGap forum or who created the plug-in.
Does this apply to HTML 5 videos too? I dont see video when I test
Different mobile browsers support different video formats... you would need to check that.
