Settings service - using local storage

Is it possible to put a value from local storage in as the value of a parameter in a Settings service?

Explanation: In my app, users must log in. After a successful log in, I store their password and id in local storage. For all services that use my own API, I need the password and id in the request parameters. The url for my API is the same for all services, so I have a Settings service with the url and an apikey. It would be convenient to include password and id, and have the Settings service pull them from local storage.

Obviously, this is only a convenience, since I can use mapping when I bind the service to the page. However, I have some services which do not require any values other than what is in local storage, which is why this would be so convenient.

Thanks.
