ios-like theme showing white unintelligible font when highlighted

I am not sure if this is a design decision or a css problem but the ios-like theme shows white unintelligible font in the select box when being highlighted (as shown in the screenshot)

I would like to use the theme but obviously this is unusable user-interface wise.

We'll investigate this issue, meanwhile you may use css to change the color of the font.
