Can I share a plugin?

I am a member of a development team. We had a shared project and each of us was (is) able to work on it.

It became necessary today and split the application into two copies. I did this by exporting it as a plugin. However, now I'm the only one that can access it. Can I share it with my team-mates without sharing it across all of appery? You guys are swell... but still...

A plug-in can be private or public. We don't have an option yet to make the plug-in available just for your team but it's something we are going to add.

I made the plugin into an app and that seems to have solved my problem.
