Barcode scanner - Front Camera

Is it possible to default to front camera when the barcode scanner is invoked? Even if it's achievable by means of a hack, it will be great if I can have a link.

Unfortunately this can be done only with the appropriate phonegap plugin. Or you may try to change the java code in the existing barcode scanner plugin, but this is outside the scope of our support.

Anything change here, is it possible yet? Anyone have a workaround?

Edit to add, I am only needing for iOS
