Google Maps 'Specified location' marker title in Geolocation

When using Geolocation, the current position marker rollover title defaults to 'Specified location'.

Is there a way of changing this title string?

Hello! There is no special option to change it, but you can try the next way:

On Marker Properties enter Latitude and Longitude for that marker which you want to change the label, enter text for title (take a look at the screenshot)

Here is what I get:

I don't have a static latitude and longitude, as the marker indicates the user's geolocation and is generated by the Geolocation service.

Can 'Specified Location' be changed to a more meaningful 'Your Location" - I guess it's under your control as the geolocation marker in Google maps itself has no title.

You can use Google Maps API to do anything it allows to do. You should be able to change the marker as well.
