How do I add an event to my user's iPhone Calender when they click on the save date button in my app?

I would like to add the date and title of an event to my user's iPhone calender when they request to save the date of the event. I'm not sure how I would do that...

Note that the Event will be the due date or deadline to submit an application or paperwork.

Hi, you'll need to export app source and add plugin through Eclipse/xCode manually.
