PUSH notification - how to show different page on click of notifcation

I was wondering how one can show a different page on hit of a notification..

The default event on the click of a notification is opening of the application and starting of start page.

How can a different page be opened.?

Your app must be launched to handle push notification. But phonegap app can't work in background:
