send grid works when i test the service but does not work from within the app

I have added the sendgrid plugin to my app. I have successfully used it when testing the service. But when i use it on a page i cannot seem to get it to function. At first i created my own page and added the service with all the correct mappings shown in the documentation. This did not work when i tested the app. So i used the pre-built page the comes with the plug-in, but this did not seem to function either. Is there some small step I'm missing here?

Hi James,

Did you uncheck Appery.io proxy when build .apk?

If not please try it.

Also, please try to use weinre debugging on your device.

This seems to have fixed it, I was a big confused as it still does not work when testing the app within Appery, but works once installed on the phone. Could be worthwhile adding this note to the documentation.

I agree. It wasn't obvious in the instructions to uncheck the Appery.io proxy. It is working for me now that I have done that.
