I understand jquery 2.0 will be out soon and (it claims) will be better optimized for mobile applications. Perhaps I'm way too soon asking this question, but are there any plans to upgrade the version of jquery (and jquery mobile?) when this release is made?

Hello! Sorry, no news about updating jquery to 2.0, we are going to release new Tiggzi version with jquery updated to 1.8.2 version in the middle of April.
