how to add elements other than buttons in the footer?

im trying to add input text, labels, gridviews, and other stuff in the footer and it wont let me... The only thing will let me is a button... how do add other elements in there??

those are from jQuery, so do i have to write in the code structure? but where bc as I recall i cant edit the html files...??

Using JS you can add any element to Footer. Add JS on page Load event.
