Importing graphics file problem

I imported 136 graphics files and during the import operation some of my files were renamed. Is there a way I can rename them back to their original names without going through the import operation again?

eg. "117.png" renamed "117.png1360649318351"

How did you import the files? Did you upload them to the database or to use for Image component (via Media Manager)?

I used the Image component (via Media Manager).

The file name shouldn't start with a number. It shows this message when trying to upload such file:

[quote:]
File name has been changed. Name should be unique. Name should only contain characters from a-z, A-Z, 0-9, dot, _, - and should not start with a number or symbol. You can rename it later.

Max - I believe this to be a bug in the media manager.

Importing graphics file problem

Hello,

Do you have images in media manager with the same names, like you try to import or rename? If yes, remove them and then try to upload or rename new one.

Hi Igor.

Starting with an empty Media Manager, dragging and dropping a number of images (i.e. 10+), some of the filenames end up with a .jpgnnnnnnn extension (i.e. image.jpg3456544). I would have to delete the file and reupload each file to correct the filename. Please investigate and resolve.
