We'd like to use the NEO Reader barcode scanner. It is incredibly fast and in a side-by-side comparison on the same hardware (iPad mini 2) the performance and reliability are both much improved.
It has an SDK ( http://www.neom.com/solutions/neoread... ) but I'm wondering if someone at Appery/Exadel could point us to ideas on how it might be implemented? Perhaps you might consider implementing it for the entire platform?

We'll pass your request to our developers out changing the current scanner to this one, but as far as I know we don't have such plans now. Unfortunately you may use another scanner only if you'll find the appropriate phonegap plugin.
What is necessary to make a phonegap plugin? Could Exadel do this under contract?
