Importing Certificate Problems

Hi,

I am trying to import an iOS certificate, I choose the CER file and click 'Import Certificate', however I get the following error which I don't understand - "Your certificate does not contain a private key, so you will not be able to sign your application". How do I import my certificate without this error?

Thanks

Importing Certificate Problems

I had a similar problem so what I did was to locate the certificate meant for production / distribution in the keychain access manager on Mac like in this picture

and then export that certificate out.. Then try importing that certificate into appery

But remember to export the cert with the private key. Otherwise it won't work.

Just an added note - you can also revoke existing certificate and request new certificate too, from the apple developer console / login. And also your distribution and provisioning certs have to match too
