Sharing and Collaboration issues

When I SHARE my existing project and add the user email, the new user created a new account, because that seemed to be what they needed to do when they first came to the appery.io url. They began working but I cannot see their work unless I log into the appery.io account using their email?

When I log into the appery.io using their email and password my "folder" is visible in the pull down for projects but there is nothing there? The original project is not visible to them.

Confused on how to effectively share and collaborate on a project? The documentation is sparse on this and seems dated. I followed what light there was there but not getting satisfaction.

Anyone there to help me with this. I have a paid account with 3 seats and want to collaborate on projects and will probably add more seats, but this collaboration seems to be broken OR I am not using it properly. Please guide on how you collaborate effectively - with two different email accounts.

Do they edit your app or work on another app?

I wanted them to work on what I started. Instead they started their own project. So for a time I thought they were doing nothing. When logged into my account their work (project) was not visible to me. And they were working on the project created with their email and it was not visible to me....until I logged in as them with their email and password, and Shared i(invited) me to join that project.

So do I need to tell the invitee that they need to use the pull down menu to work on an existing project in my folder which should show on the pull down menu under projects?

Just trying to understand the workflow for collaboration on an existing project. And how to get others involved in a project in my folder, without them creating a new project which I cannot see.

If the user created his/her app - you won't have access to it unless they share it with you. To work on the same app, the user needs to select your folder (email address) or All. They will see your app. Hope this helps.

That did help...I sort of had to figure it out myself but we almost lost my programer since I thought he was not working on the project....even though it has the similar name and he kept insisting that work was being done and I could not see it.

Looking forward to doing more collaboration in the cloud!

Glad it's working. In a few weeks, we are adding a few collaboration features. You will know who is currently editing the project and what pages/services he/she are changing.
