I see "backup" and "New Version" buttons on the appery.io "Apps" tab. This makes it clear to me that my mobile app can be saved and versioned.
What is not as clear to me is how I can backup my database and how I can backup and/or version my server code. Could you provide me with a reference on this?

Yes, you can save your work in backup and then restore it as a new app. This can't be done for servercode.
...and the database? Is there a feature to backup or export the database?
