Carousel item not showing on data tab

However when I go to the data tab response mapping the item is not visible

I am returning image info via an Appery service

I need to map the response to the applicable components

Because there is NO mobilecarouselitem I cannot map the Response array so that it shows all the images returned

to use your screenshot...
I can only map the response image parameter to the mobileimage_6 asset
and the response text parameter to the mobilelabel_7 text

So it only shows 1 image

Hi Steve,

The problem is that Carousel component is quite unstable and we're going to implement new Carousel. Unfortunately we can't promise you this issue will be fixed for current Carousel component as we're going to replace it with a new one this summer, but exact date of release is unknown for now.

Is there any alternative, perhaps a plug-in you can recommend, I have some students who are really keen to use a carousel working off a datasource. Thanks.
