Using weinre remote debugger: weinre: target not connected

As advised in a previous post, I enabled weinre debugging for my app. However when I click on the Debugging URL provided as explained here (http://devcenter.appery.io/documentat...), I get a "target not connected" response.

I've tried logging out then loggin back in to my account. I've tried to use the weinre debugger in Chrome an Firefox. But still no success. Any suggestions?

Oh wait. I understand now, that this is to be used in conjunction with device testing not testing the app in a desktop browser. Please excuse my error.

Using weinre remote debugger: weinre: target not connected

Just in case someone else makes the same error, I am going to add what I did to enable the weinre debugger.

  1. (http://devcenter.appery.io/documentat...) I enabled the the weinre debugging from the App Setting page in the Project folder.

  2. I exported and installed an .apk build to my Android device.

  3. I then click on the URL link under the Enable weinre debugging checkbox in the App settings tab. This opens a new browser tab for weinre showing Targets and Clients.

4.On my Android device, I open the app by selecting the launch icon.
5.Now in the browser tab for weinre, I can see the Targets section change from "none" to a listed device.

You are ready to start debugging.

    Hope this helps.

Using weinre remote debugger: weinre: target not connected

Mark- this was a great help to me in using Weiner with Appery - something I never seemed to master before. I use it with a web-only app, and it works perfectly. Thanks very much.

Using weinre remote debugger: weinre: target not connected

UPDATE: I may have spoken too soon. All of a sudden I seem unable to display a target when I connect my web-only app via the iPhone. I'll start a new thread.

Using weinre remote debugger: weinre: target not connected

UPDATE TO UPDATE: Things are back to being good! I believe I was not saving my app with Weinre being enabled. When that was done the target was recognized.
