different behavior between mobile app vs web app: no side bar in mobile panel!

I want to display either a googlemap or a HTML help page inside the same panel by switching the visible property of either. In the web, the app works great as you can see/try here:

if I install the .apk, the app only show the first portion of the help file (if you press the info button on the right). There is no way for the user to scroll down and read the remaining part.

PS: I have a deadline pretty soon and it'll be really great if this could be solved. Thanks anyway for your awesome service and support

I installed your app on Android 2.3.5 and was able to scroll inside the help window by using finger. What happens when you try that? What Android version did you install on?

if I click the "info" button I get this screen without a side bar like the web-app and it ignores any finger gestures:

Screen grabs are from Android 2.3.7, but I also tried it on HTC Incredible with 2.3.4. Same behaviors in both.

I think I provided the .apk link of the "Google Play" version, not of the new one. Here's the link:

PS: the old version had some weird glitches on the "info" button. It takes you to the help page, but then every once in a while it won't stay there and bounce right back to the main panel. Hence I'm working on a solution that make the GUI more streamlined too.

I'm guessing it's a combination of device/Android version. It works fine on Android 2.3.5 and also as pure mobile web. I'll ask our dev. team to test this further. Could also be something with PhoneGap.
