I'm trying to map a service to a carousel, and can't get it to work
Here is my page, you can see the hierarchy has a carousel, a single carousel item, and labels:
But on the data tab the carousel item doesn't appear, and i can't map the places collection to anything. The hierarchy goes from the carousel straight to the labels - the carousel item doesn't appear, which is where I should be mapping 'places' to.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello! We'll test and I update.
It's not a bug, there shouldn't be mobilecarouselitem in mapping. You can map directly to Label.

If I don't map to some sort of container, I only get one row returned: 
Compare this to a mapping of the same service to a data grid:
In the carousel case, I can't map 'places' to anything
Sorry, to clarify, the UI won't let me map 'Places' to the carousel, but it will let me map it to a grid

Thank you for the link, you're right... But the problem is that this component is quite unstable and we're going to implement new Carousel. Unfortunately I can't promise you this issue will be fixed for current Carousel component as we're going to replace it with a new one this summer, but exact date of release is unknown for now.

Is there any choice for an alternative until you get the carousel working? A few students i'm working with at the moment are looking to implement carousels mapped to datasources so would be nice to have an option available for them?
Mapping is not available. But you can try to use JS (on success event of service) instead of mapping.
