How do I drag a custom component onto a page

I dropped a Select component onto a page and then modified properties according to my needs. I then saved as custom component and can see under custom components. I now want to drag this component onto a page but it will not allow it. How do I drag this custom component onto a page?

Hi Roger, from what page you are trying to drag it?
Select your main page in which you want to add custom component and in the bottom of the "Components" tab you'll see your custom component - you can drag-and-drop it e.g. to your main page.

That is exactly what I am trying to do. I select the page I want to drag it onto and I can see the custom component under "components" tab. I try to drag but I cannot drop. The cursor is the circle with a line through it.

Ah, I was trying to drag it from the left pane. I did not see it listed with the other components until I scrolled down. A picture is worth a 1000 words.

I have dropped my custom component (Select) on my page. When I attempt to map the "Selected" property to my service it does not exist. The only property available is "Visible". Is this correct behavior?

Yes, it's correct. If you want to edit custom component properties, you should click "Edit Source".
