There are any plugin database services to upload/download files to my code in Angularjs/Bootstrap beta version? Like Cordova or anything else.
Hello Sergio,
Unfortunately it's impossible now, but we are working on it. We'll post an update when this feature will be.
Well, how can I upload files in Apperyio to the database to my app code, like a image file from my users? Are there any Apperyio database server restriction/permission policy? Can I to do this by myself by my Form code?
Hello Sergio,
This should be possible with standard upload via Input component file type.
The same as in jQuery Mobile https://devcenter.appery.io/tutorials...
Any update to this? Its really stopping a lot on my end.
Hello,
You can create your own service according to uploading's documentation: https://devcenter.appery.io/documenta...
Gonna have to. Get the awesome services you got for jQuery ported over. I love appery and I know your still in beta but you have been for a long time for the angular stuff. I guess I just worry about putting a lot of time and effort into it and then you continue down the jQuery route which is fine but the bootstrap and ionic has come so far and I'm loving it. I came here being an appcelorator guy. Keep up the good work it's not a put down I assure you.
Thanks Chris! - our priority for the nearest future releases will be AngularJS and Ionic.
With introduction of our plugins wizard adding such functionality would be much easier in Appery.io projects.
Hello Chris, Sergio, Appery Team,
Have you found a solution how to upload files before the mentioned plug-in is available?
Thanks,
Peter
I haven't. I ended up just going on my own without the usage of Appery until they get it all wired up.
I love Appery, and I respect they are in BETA. But I wanted to keep rocking with Angular and other stuff and found it a bit easier to do this on my own app at this time. I will continue my paid account and keep reviewing to track their progress because its much easier to use Appery than it is living my life in TextWrangler
