Carousal not working with dynamic content

When adding an a dynamic image and text I get a really strange result.

In the browser I get the first item with the dots below - but when i scroll the dots move but the item does not change.

On the device (Andoid) it shows the first item with the faded "loading screen and loading icon (frozen)). BUT... if I swipe the screen a number of times it will eventually move to the other items with the load sreen gone - but when I move back to item 1 again - the load screen is there and swiping becomes difficult again - multiple swipes to hit the sweet spot to get of item 1.

Just realized that on the device if you swipe the far right (outside the control) is when the scoll happens... so you can see what i mean by other items in carousal look and act correct.
