well , either way - I've posted a video here that shows how we use the debugger in Chrome - and byPass the issue you mention above.
I've made it more generic - and am calling it best practices in debugging your Appery UI issue 
I'm also going to post it as an 'idea' in case anyone else has questions on how to use Chrome with Appery - in order to solve / debug UI issues.
