URGENT - very disappointed!

i have spent nearly 2 weeks as a paid member learning alot about appery and have built my first app ready to go.

there is a lot of confusion about android launch images. the sizes inthe platform are useless.

the support of appery is fantastic and really fast and the platform i love.

its just a few things that are not acceptable for a paying customer.

re: the launch images. i need to add one for 480x600 and above. i have finished my app now, but you seem to tell everyone to add a custom size via source code. BUT if you edit the source code you cant edit the app anymore. that is not acceptable and pretty stupid. if im wrong pls correct me.

as a paying subscriber who was considering using premium option i need to just add a 480x800 launch image and maybe a few a bigger size for the s5 phone. thats it. waiting to hear back is holding up my production of my apps. i have 38 more to make!!! PLEASE GET BACK TO ME ASAP WITH A SOLUTION, not a link to another question please.

Hi Simon,

You can replace an image file with needed one rather than changing source code. Then you'll be able to make changes in builder. That is why we advice to change source files right before exporting your application...

You would need to add an image and then replace it in assets.

how do i change the launch images to the right sizes for 480x800 in the builder without destroying the build of the app. there will never be an issue of build an app and edit the source and not go back to the app to do a new release. thats just stupid. all devs do multiple releases of an app.

Just replace files in folder Resources/splash using Source editor:

Here 'appName' is a name of your application.

is this going to mess up my app, because i am changingthe source code? i suppose its just renaming images and not messing with the source. will my app still be editable?

If you just replace image files but don't edit code, everything will be okay, as there will be no changed files.
