UPDATE: My fault - in outline view there is a ciickable icon by the panel reference to display the component in the GUI. I know this type of icon which displays itself only when hovered over presents a cleaner interface. But because it assumes the user knows hovering is needed, I personally don't like them. In any case, I'm happy to have found my long-lost panel.
