Gif Not Animating

I have a gif image but it is not animating. Any reason. I see there are posts which states that gifs need to be uploaded as an animated image. I have done that.

Please clarify, how did you uploaded that gif file, with a Media Manager or into WEB_RESOURCES directly? Do you test it on the installed app to the device? What OS does your device have?

I uploaded to media manager. I was testing through the Appery Tester running on Android.

Just to be sure that the case is not in the Tester, could you please clarify do you have the possibility to test your app as installed on device binary file?

I meant to create an apk or ipa file and install it on a device and test. Please specify have you tested your app this way?
