UX crying for improvement in search UI component

UX comment:
the search UI component - it better have a much larger search button.
Currently not practical to use. the search icon is so small, barely possible to tap it on a mobile device (unlike a mouse pointer).
I would consider to replace positions between the X button that erases the search with the search circle button, and turn the circle button into a larger rounded rectangle. It makes much more sense UX wise.

The component that we use in Appery.io is the jQuery Mobile search component. As Marina said, you can always customize the look and feel with CSS. You could make the component/icon bigger, for instance.

Ok, so I know who should I refer to now (JQ mobile dev)

I suggested to your company (through email) to have a market of customized items that people can contribute (like an open community) and share. it will have positive effect, hopefully viral effect...
