How do i create a side menu panel in ionic app?

Shouldn't we have a walk through tutorial process on how to set this up. The direction on how to set it is insufficient. This is very important.

I agree, i tryed to use "alert" and F12 in chrome, but i cant see fint the problem. Would be awesome if the Ionic would get the same "palette" as the JSON has or maybe more videos would be great!
