API Express database connection not working after update

My API Express database connection used to work. However, after the update on September 27, it doesn't work anymore. Has the update changes anything (e.g. the app server ip address etc)

Hi IIIya,

Sorry to jump into this thread but I seem to be having the same problem. My APIs which are used to grab data from my MySQL database don't seem to work after the update.

I have tried all sorts to get this working but no luck. I keep getting an Internal Server error after the page crashes for a minute or too.

Everything used to work before. I've contacted my host and they have confirmed that the IPs required for the API server to work (52.x.x.x etc) are allowed to connect as they are in the Remote MySQL table and nothing has changed.

I have some screen shots from a post I made here yesterday which may help you understand the problem which we are experiencing.

Hi Ilya,

The api express will stuck at this screen for 130 seconds. Image

Then, it will popup says 'Cannot connect to database. Please verify connection credentials and try again.'

In AWS rds, I have white listed Appery.io's app server as follows:
52.7.79.49/32
52.6.213.128/32
52.3.49.193/32

This configuration used to work without problem until after the update. Thus, I was wondering if the app server ip address changed?

Hi, can I know how is this problem fix going along? My whole project is stopped because of this, and I cannot continue for 2 days now.

I finally confirmed the problem. I whitelisted all ip by setting 0.0.0.0/0 in inbound rules, and I can access the database now.

Thus, it is confirmed that the ip address of app server changed after the update on Sep 27th. This link https://devcenter.appery.io/documenta... is not updated to reflect this

It seems to me that the list is not complete as I am not able to connect to my 3rd party provider with the listed hosts.
