When using the Barcode Reader on Android, it always ask which barcode reader to use.
The list will contain every app that has this feature including the app asking for this service.
How do I make it not ask this question and just use the one in my app always?
There should be a check box, something like "Always us".
Yes, but the user has to do that and I find that to be extremely confusing and annoying. Other apps like Redlaser never do that
This is just how Android work.. there might be a setting somewhere to configure this.
I have a similar question. If I select the Appery.io Tester which I have installed on my Android device, the barcode scanner works fine, but if I choose my own app for barcode scanning it says "Sorry, the Android camera encountered a problem. You may need to restart the device." Is there something that I need to configure in my app to get it to work?
When you say your app - do you mean an app you created with Appery.io?
Hello! Can you try to reboot your device and give it another try? If it won't help - let us know. Perhaps there is some problem with permissions.
