To access native device APIs Appery.io includes Apache Cordova (PhoneGap) library. I don't believe it has API to access your email.

You could.. but then then you would need API access to email stored in the cloud. The code that you write is going to be run on the server (not the phone).

OK Max,
what I was thinking of was a way to send an email to a mobile app,
user makes some selections and forwards the the original email and additions with USSD through USSD gateway, I had a look at http://www.txtnation.com/

Well.. you could post (save) the email as a message to a cloud database and then read the message in the app.

sms/email ang reverse geolocation

hi
i need an app which receives sms, pick up first word (latitude)and second word (longitude)from message, and show them separately.

i think sending and receiving message is not very special for an android app and should be very simple capability!!! :) but there is no pre-installed cordova plugin for this( http://devcenter.appery.io/documentat... ) in appery ...

i tried to add plugin ..but it gets some error in export .apk file...when i asked for help , Alena told me that its debugging and it's out of our scope... :(

https://getsatisfaction.com/apperyio/...

I am not sure is it possible or not in appery ...and i was wondering how building such simple app become difficult!!!

any help?
thanks
