FileTransfer fails error code 3 first attempt but works second

I am on Android 4.2.1 and did you disable the second attempt? It only fails if you disable it doing a second try.

Ok I've made the changes so it only makes 1 attempt.

Hi Ryein,

Error 3 is a connection error. If you have an access to server where you upload an image then please check server logs at the moment error is returned codeFileTransferError.CONNECTION_ERR = 3/code

The issue is not in Phonegap. if the server is a Windows based server, try using another server.

This was 2 years ago and it is a Linux server.
