Controls on collapsblocks - dragging/dropping issues.

Hi,
I'm having problems with dragging and dropping controls on to collapsible blocks.
When they are dropped, they do not get placed in the right position, and they seem to disappear.
Of course, they don't disappear, but get placed somewhere else, usually in another block underneath.
When I find them, I'm still unable to drag them to the right position.
It may be because, for layout purposes, I have grids in the collapsible blocks, not sure.
Is there a workaround for this?
Thanks,
Dale.

When you drag a control inside a collapsible block and it looks like it will be inserted inside the block -- but ends up outside of it?

Please include a screen shot so we can see what other components you have inside the block.

I was going to report this as problem.

Drag and Drop makes them disappear, only if you have "collapsed" checked off in the design view properties panel.

If you uncheck it, drag and drop works fine.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce it (Chrome/Firefox). Could you post any screenshot? Perhaps there are some additional steps? Or you just drag and drop any component to mobilecollapsblock (with Collapsed checked) and it doesn't work?

Controls on collapsblocks - dragging/dropping issues.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Add Collapsible1 component and check off Collapsed.

  2. Add another Collapsible2 below it.

  3. Attempt to drag collapsible2 and drop it above collapsible1.

    Result: The dropped component dispppears

Expected Result: #2 should appear at top, with #2 below.

If you uncheck collapsed in collapsible1, then it doesn't disappear.

Hope this helps. Not a big deal because of the workaround. Just a heads up.

    Don

After building this some more, it appears that no matter where you drop a component, anywhere on the screen, it will "disappear" and become a child on the "collapsed Collapsible component". As long as there is at least one that is collapsed, it will go there.

Basically, the collapsed component is always the drop target. Make sense?

I can't reproduce it. I can move mobilecollapsblocks over each other and non of it disappears (Chrome and Firefox) - I checked Collapsed for first mobilecollapsblock. Still no luck... We'll test it more.

Hi, same problem here. I've had to recode twice on Safari. Can't use firefox as it hangs for me on appery.io (reported). Backup before every session and if you move an item as described above, exit the editor (sacrifice the session) as the item will not go back to where it came from and the situation just gets worse from there.
