Sorry for misunderstanding - it's only needed when you work with files/users in DB.
Please take a look here http://docs.appery.io/documentation/b...

Thanks again for your great support.
Hi
My apologies for coming back to this...
In terms of printing, the window.print() as you explained works fine in a web browser however it does not work when trying to print from an Android App.
I have also setup Google Cloud Printing but no joy.
Hi Deon,
Just to clarify. Doesn't apps like this work on your Android phone?
Are you referring to appery.io apps? If so, they work perfectly except I cant print.
Printing from the app works fine from a desktop browser.
Mobile Browser. I get a message saying that i can only print to a Samsung Printer.
Mobile app (.apk) Does not do anything, Processing continues as if the printing is completed.
I can print other stuff ie files etc from the android phone using Goodle Cloud print.
Deon,
No, I meant whether you could print from another mobile apps. Thank you for the response. We'll test this.
Direct printing from a mobile application is difficult. You would need to manually add plug-in to support printing, but only after you export it to your IDE.
Unfortunately, you have to find this plug-in yourself. We have no information on the appropriate plugin.
But remember that importing project back to our platform is impossible.
Oh dear, this is a spot of bother. Are you referring to a Phonegap plugin?
Yes, you need external plugin for print.
