can't delete navigation bar item

I have a navigation bar at the bottom of my page and it will not allow me to delete two of the items. When I click on them, the delete icon that usually appears in the upper right corner does not show.

Please advise.

Do you want to remove navigation bar or only items?

Select navigation in the breadcrumb menu and set items in the properties.
