p12 certificate import password fail - I've read the other posts!

Hi. I generated the .p12 certificate using the:

Generate Provisioning Profiles Manually

option

(see attached)

I then get this error

(see attached 'error' file)

Any help would be most appreciated. I'm assuming it's possible to generate the required documents WITHOUT using xcode. HOWEVER if this is considered the most trouble free way then I will steal an iPhone from a colleague

(PS. I've made and distributed an android app already. I'm being forced at gunpoint to make an iOS app ) and am finding teethpulling Apple process)

Hi Alena,
It turned out I needed to reinstall the apple WWDR intermediate certificate (per instructions below)

This fixed the problem immediately.

My problem now is

I'm inclined to delete all the certificate etc from the Apple dev site and from my keychain etc and then reattempt the whole creation again

Hi Patrick -- Please make sure that the pair of certificate and provisioning profile is correct and you are using correct Bundle ID in your App Settings for this pair of files.

Hokay.

Deleted all certificates and keychain etc

Started from scratch with just the developer certs.

Everything has been accepted BUT a new build error has arisen which I'll research (tells me my Build ID is not known).

I'll close this thread. Don't want it to go to far off topic.
