Colour swatches don't change the UI with custom themes?

Using the built-in themes inside Appery (Cappuccino, Winter etc.) I can change swatch in App Settings and the accents / colours of UI items change when I preview my app. However I can't get colours (swatches) to work with any custom JQuery Mobile Theme I try!

For example I've followed the procedure for creating a custom theme in the Appery docs, by pasting in the CSS, uploading & selecting the images and everything seems to go OK. My theme name appears in the Themes list along with CSS and beside it the images I uploaded and I can even choose it from App Settings. However the UI is always monochrome (black & white) no matter which swatch I choose in App Settings.

Take for example the brightly coloured Twitter Bootstrap JQuery Mobile theme at https://github.com/commadelimited/jQu... which has a range of swatches to choose from - all of which appear as black & white in Appery.

Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong please? It's the same with several JQuery Mobile themes I've tried so it must be me rather than a problem with any one theme.

Thanks,

Steve

This theme works for us https://github.com/commadelimited/jQu...
Could you give us your public app link so we can take a look?

That may have been a version of the app with a different theme Maria - please try this one instead which is supposed to have the Bootstrat theme applied, swatch B.

Please select the screen (you can use breadcrumbs) and set Swatch to Inherit (or any other Swatch you need)

Fantastic! That worked, thanks Marina. You're good at this! :-)

So "Inherit" means "Inherit swatch value from App Settings" ?

Might be nice to have "Inherit" as the default value for new pages as they're created. In most cases I imagine the colour swatch will be constant throughout an app, so modifying a page not to inherit the App Settings value would make more sense than having to go to each page and tell it to use the swatch specified in App Settings.

Thanks again Marina.

[quote:]So "Inherit" means "Inherit swatch value from App Settings"[/quote] yes, for screen it's inherit from App setting, for component on screen it's inherit from screen.
