Why does the Label Change in Select Menu? And how to fix it?

I created a custom component for the 50 states in a select menu. The values are numbered 1-50, and the name of the states are in the Label fields, however when i test it - it only shows #'s... However, its weird because in the working layout - it shows the names of the states (not #'s)... What is going on here and how to fix it?

That's a bug -- when saving as a custom component. We'll get it fixed. If you use it not as a custom component - it's fine.
