Hi Chris -
Please show us where exactly this happens?
Sure. This is the app id:
01a66e52-2d97-4960-9cc5-5619d7025c69
It's shared with support.
There is nothing you can do here, from the builder side.
But you can set the needed app name when you are going to publish it on the App Store, there you can set the needed app name the way you want.
This is news to me.
Previously, when I changed the app label in the Appery builder, the app name below the launcher icon also changed.
Are you saying that that the app name which appears below the launcher icon on the iOS device homescreen can be updated via the app store?
Sorry Chris - I've checked this and looks like from inside the builder built app it's really replaces space to the underscores.
But I've checked this with xCode project export and the app name in this case is correct.
As per the discussion and suggestion on this post we have committed to the client that underscore would be removed once the application is available with App store.
I am sorry to inform that the underscore is still coming on the shortcut to launch the application. This has really put us in a bad situation in front of the client.
Can you please look into this ASAP?
Thanks
Alok
Hello Alok,
This bug should be fixed in the next release, which should be on this weekend.
Hello Evgene,
We tested the new build, but the issue still exists. Can you please check?
Thanks
Alok
