Is there an API to push notifications from my own server?

Does the appery.io cloud service have an API so I can send my users push notifications from my own server? In other words, the business logic in our existing system needs to send notifications to users of our app. Can our server send these to the appery.io servers which then sends them to the mobile users? Which country are your servers in? If they are global could we be guaranteed our data will be held on a server within the EU? Thank you.

I don't know of the top of my head the max. message size. Let me find out.

Currently our servers are located in the United States. We have plans to deploy servers in Europe/Asia as well.

iOS - 256 bytes
Android - 1024 bytes

These numbers include device token and badge, so generally there are less bytes available for message itself.
