Appery Backup button producing non-zipped folder and contents.

I don't see a zipped file produced from the Backup button.
I see a non-zipped folder and its contents, that includes the metadata.xml file

Hi!

I've tested and it works fine for me.
Make sure you do not open preview of files in zipped folder.

Are you on Mac OS? Mac might automatically unzip the file. I just tested and got a .zip file.

Appery Backup button producing non-zipped folder and contents.

my iMac, OS X 10.8.5, using Safari 6.0.5.
I get a non-zipped folder named "project_95182_backup" from the downloads folder. Contents includes metadata.xml, and 8 Unix Execute File named 2420153, 2420154, etc.
I even watch Safari open a blank tab/page and an icon jumps into the downloads button. That being the non-zipped project_95182_backup folder.

Thank you, I selected the files, right-click, Compress, creates the file Archive.zip, which the Restore button uses successfully.
