Push Notification Error

Hi,

I am having some troubles sending push notification though my app. I am receiving the following error:

Description: Invalid certificate chain (Received fatal alert: certificate_unknown)! Verify that the keystore you provided was produced according to specs

I believe I followed all the steps properly to setup my certificates and profiles. I again with still no luck.

Would anyone happen to be able to point me in the right direction to identify which certificate, or profile might be causing the issue? Or what I may be doing wrong when creating them?

Hi Marco,

For Push notifications you would need an a separate certificate with different password as for distribution: http://devcenter.appery.io/tutorials/...

Hi Illya,

This is the process I followed. I believe I did it correctly. I did create a new certificate for the push notifications, but it does have the same password. I'm assuming this is okay?

Is there anything else you can think of that may be causing this error?

I'm lost on what to do. I've tried everything with recreating these certificates.

As I can see in our build logs - your last build was successful, could you please check this one more time?

That Is the wierd thing. I was able to build the IPA file successfully, which lead me to believe there was no issues with the certificates.

But I tired sending the push request again, and I am receiving the same error message.

Hi Maryna,

I read through this full post above, before sending my question.

I thought the same solution would work, as I originally had distribution certificates and not development certificates.

I have since changed all of them and re-uploaded the development certificates, but I am still receiving the exact same error.

To confirm, if I am using development certificates, I should have the production box not checked off, and have the release box no checked off correct?

I have solved the issue. Seems to be a problem with the way I was exporting the push certificate.
