The resource I added was one that actually can't be added through Appery's external resources bcoz it is a script tag with attributes. However, this case represents any resource that is mistyped, and should be removable.
I tried to add and remove another resource, as suggested in an old post here, but to no avail. I don't want to manually remove from source file each time I publish.

After you edited corresponding file on Source tab, changes you do through editor which are connected to this file, won't be applied. You have to delete edited file and Undo all source changes.
You can add your external resource dynamically using JS code.

Sorry, there might be misunderstanding. Could you clarify in more details what have you done and what exactly doesn't work? Post steps to reproduce, perhaps more screenshots...

The resource I added is illegal syntax I know. I think you should take it as a case of simply mistyping a legal resource, adding an extra "" character, etc.
It's a bug, we'll fix it. You can post (or send to a href="mailto:support@appery.io" rel="nofollow"support@appery.io/a) your project GUID so we can delete unnecessary resources from your project.
Please note you would need to close app. After we delete these resources on our side, go to Source tab--WEB_RESOURCES, delete all .html files and undo all source changes.
