Back button disappeared from screen

It working fine all day but suddenly no back button appears on any screen when I test. Am I missing anything?

I tried unchecking and rechecking the back button option in the header field

It will only appear if there is a page to go back (navigation history). The navigation has to happen via Ajax. It's a standard jQuery Mobile feature.

Hmmm. I am navigating to a new page by clicking on an image instead of a button. Does that not qualify?

It appears to be a problem with the generated code. It will be fixed. When using image/click/navigate to page -- it generates a full page refresh and thus no back button is shown on the target page (no history). The button works correctly.

Is it a bug? Any ETA on the fix? Meanwhile I have added a swipe action to return to the previous page. Thanks for your help.

Yes, it's a bug. We are planning an update in January.

We were not able to reproduce the issue. Working fine.
Please try clearing cache, reload app.
Does it happen in different browsers?
