appery's builder is fantastic, but the only problem is after spending a few hours starring at a mainly white screen, my eyes start to hurt.

I've recently changed the colour schemes of my operating system and main applications, from a light background with dark text, to a dark background with light text. This makes it a lot less straining on the eyes.

I thought It may be a good idea to have a toggle inside the builder that switches between the default 'day' mode and a darker themed 'night' mode.

I recommend instead using f.lux, it is an app for your computer that changes the lighting on your computer depending on time of day.

Thanks, I already use it, It's a great little app.
But I doesn't provide a true 'night-mode'. A true night-mode is where the background is dark and the text is light.

A better work around is to invert screen colours, but this has obvious downsides when working on design.

My bad, I see what you mean. I wonder if this would be better as a computer program as a whole instead on Appery.io specifically, where the program makes text white, and background darker. It would be cool either way.

Good luck!

Hi Joe -

We are considering to add such mode for our visual builder, this is a very good idea indeed. Thanks.

Sounds like that could be a good program! I should have patented it before putting in the public domain!

another good app is called ScreenShade, it displays an overlay over the screen to reduce the brightness.

Good to hear!

Also a good tip is to use a dark theme for chrome dev tools.
